95 YJ 2.5 muffler advice

PO put on a flowmaster offroad muffler. Looks nice but was designed for "aggressive sound". I personally could care less about aggressive sound. I want to hear my engine, road noise, radio, passengers, etc. Any advice on a good quiet muffler to put on?
Thanks

If you wheel it enuff that one will be crushed for you, but seriously I went with whatever Auto Zone had as a match with no problems, figured its easy enuff to replace, but if I was you I would run it till its done...

Good point. I may. It is just hideously loud. Sounds pretty stupid with a 4 cylinder lol.

You could see if a muffler shop might give you a few bucks for the Flowmaster towards a stock muffler if you don't want to do it yourself.

Nothing seems to make a 2.5L really quiet, but I used a Walker QuietFlow 3 after dumping my Flowmaster 60. It's much quieter and didn't make any difference in performance.

Thanks for that info! I was looking at a walker online today but had never used one. I think I will give it a try. The engine noise is not too loud, just from the muffler. Sure will be nice to hear the engine.
