94 YJ transmission issues someone please help!!! - JeepForum.com

So I have a 94 YJ 2.5 and when I was driving it from PHX to El Paso the transmission popped out of 5th gear and would go back into any other gear but 4th and reverse I have no idea what's wrong someone please help!!!!

Fill us into specifics of what it's doing? Any other symptoms you discovered? Details. Will it grind? Try different things to get it into gear. Is it only 4th and reverse? What were you doing when it popped out of fourth? Letting off the clutch? Just cruising? We need details

So I was cruising on the highway going like 75 just kinda making my way and then all of a sudden the jeep just spit out the of 5 and I tried putting it back into 5 and the thing wouldbt go it just kinda grinded a lil the only gear that it will go into k ow is 4th and reverse

Someone told me I might need a new master clutch Kit. Comes with Plate, Disc, Pilot / Maindrive Clutch Control Unit and someone else said I could have blow up my tranny and then I got Bother dude saying I burnt my clutch cause it was probably low on transmission fluieds lol I hope I just need a new clutch or something
