WOW, that's some extreme welding...
I don't think I would need to do quite so much, maybe just on the ends near the shackles... THX for the info... Next step is to take off the fenders and then the tub!!! |

man thas alot of rust. my best suggestion would be to remove the frame to be able to treat the rust the best.

ya removing the tub and front grille will help u be able to get in there to clean it up. u guna sand it then coat it?

must be something with that color
I did that sort of job on my 1992 YJ a year ago. it took me 6 months from start till finish I also had the holes in the frame and the body. i'll post a link with the pictures, on this moment the pics are on the Dutch Jeepforum http://www.jeepforum.nl/forum/index.php?showtopic=1377&st=15 good luck with the project!! |
