any optimists...where's Sentinal02? help me out buddy

it is just these holes...nothing rotting along the rest of the frame, just these holes on the ends...one side only, passenger...driver side is ok, strange or what?

I think it can be fixed with some patience and welding practice

definately more than I thought when I picked up this baby...

WOW, that's some extreme welding...

I don't think I would need to do quite so much, maybe just on the ends near the shackles...

THX for the info...

Next step is to take off the fenders and then the tub!!!

I found this before I rebuilt my rear frame. http://www.autorust.com/k_42.html

$250 for both caps will buy you a lot of 1/8" material and get you a good down payment on a decent welder.

I'm taking off the tub...so I can really get in there...

That orange will be long gone once the por-15 is applied

must be something with that color

I did that sort of job on my 1992 YJ a year ago. it took me 6 months from start till finish

I also had the holes in the frame and the body.

i'll post a link with the pictures, on this moment the pics are on the Dutch Jeepforum

http://www.jeepforum.nl/forum/index.php?showtopic=1377&st=15

good luck with the project!!
