94 YJ with Major Vibration

Ok, I had the clutch replaced a couple of months ago. I don't know if it's related but I recently got a major vibration in and out of gear. Get's worse when slowing down to around 10 MPH. I pulled off the driveline and the U-Joints are in good shape. The tranny, transfer case and motor mounts all look good. Could it be the rearend? My pinion seal has been leaking for about a month but my fluid level is fine because I've been keeping an eye on it. I pulled the dif cover off and everything is tight but I noticed the spider gears have some gouges in the teeth.
Any ideas?

What's your pinion angle look like? Do you have a t-case drop kit or SYE? Have you checked your u-joints on the rear driveshaft?

My pinion angle is fine. The first thing I checked was the u-joints and motor and tranny mounts. I have been running my current setup for about 5 years. The vibration just started all of a sudden.

Since you think it is coming from the rear. Jack up the rear tires and chock the front tires.

Put it in gear and test fo the vibration.

Check the tires for roundness and out of balance. From what you are describing you might have hit something that put a knot or placed your tires out of round. Who knows?

So this weekend I crawled under the Jeep with the rearend jacked up and spun the tires. No wobbles that I could notice but I did notice that I can move the 2 smaller spider gears around a little. They wiggle quit a bit and every tooth has some big chunks missing. I can also spin the shaft that holds them in. I checked the set screw that holds the pin in and it's tight. I can slide the shaft up and down a little also.
Could this be causing vibration? I read in a couple places that if that shaft is moving around the carrier is pretty much shot and should be replaced.
