I ended up using a grill from an M38A1 which took a ton of modifying the mount to get to it to work but Im happy with the fit now.

Today i mounted and hooked up an overflow canister for my 8.8 diff and added 2 quarts of gear oil in the diff. Ive been worried about frying my pinion bearing since its pointing way up. My mind is at ease now.

Havent updated this thread in a long time. Havent done too many mods to the rig tho. Just been wheeling a lot. I did bend my front springs which i replaced with rubicon express ones. Military wrap ftw.

Hey buddy, great build so far! Definitely some inspiration for mine.

Could you post a profile shot of the TJ hood and of the YJ hood? Odd request but I want to see how much more "curved" the hood of a TJ is (like a cowl)

Little update. Got some bfg krawlers on allied beadlocks. Also got a new steering wheel finally.
