94' Wrangler engine problem

My brother just bought a 94' Wrangler with a 2.5L 4 cylinder and it's missing between about 2000 and 3000 RPM. Does anyone have any suggestions? He's replaced the O2 sensor and the crank positioning sensor, checked the plugs and wires and everything else we can think of. Any ideas?

Take the TPS and the AIC off of Throttle body and clean them. They are the 2 sensors connected to the throttle body. May also check the Temp Sending Unit at the thermostat housing to make sure it is good. If temp unit is bad it will not allow the ECM to get out of closed loop.

I would start with the TPS and AIC like UBAY194 said then i would move onto the fuel system.Could be a "lazy" fuel pump

I would also do a complete tune up (cap rotor plugs wires) on it as well.
