'94 multifunction stalk replacement
Got in a new stalk to replace the old one that snapped off. Steering wheel removed, lock plate removed, got the switch itself pulled free (barely). Looking at Haynes, it seems they concentrate on the method of removing the switch *itself* instead of simply the physical lever. Is there a way of just pushing out the old broken stalk? Been picking at it for some time with the smallest screwdriver I can find to no avail. Any help would be really appreciated.
The end piece will just fall out when you get the part it fits in removed. you can just push is though to the inside and it will fall out as well. Nothing is really holding it in place. Once you get that out the new one just pushes into place. There is a small ball detent which fits over the narrowing part on the end. The little detent ball holds the lever in place
Went ahead and grabbed a set of angle picks---popped right out.
