94 and 95 wrangler

I have a 1995 jeep wrangler will the transmission from a 1994 6 cyl work on my 95 it is a 4 cyl. Both are 5 speed manual.

Its not the same transmission and will require more work to swap it in but it can be done.

It is an upgrade though, but you'll need to swap t-cases as well among some other stuff. Look up AX-15 swap for 2.5L or something along those lines, should be some info out there.

Advance adapters sells a conversion plate to mate up the ax15 to the 2.5l. It's on my list.

F/S Dana 35, 4:10, open make an offer, local pick up only, will not ship. 3-8-13
