93 YJ Power Steering Pump

Hi,

Anyone ever have to replace the power steering pump due to the bearing failing, how hard to change?

I replaced my whole gearbox. Took a couple hours since I didn't know what I was doing. Went slow. Also bent return line so i had to run to parts store. While there borrowed pitman arm puller. Neighbor helped me with pitman nut. Needed impact gun. over all not a bad job. I would do it again.

Sorry just realized you said pump. I was thinking gearbox. I would think pump is easier.

Not hard to change at all, be sure you get the new one with a reservoir and you will have to take off the pulley off the old one.
