'93 YJ, 4"lift, stock rims---33in tires???

Hello, I'm a first time poster, but long time JF watcher.

I have a '93 YJ with a 4" suspension lift. Can I use my stock rims (7in wide /15in diameter with a 5.5 backspace) with 33/10.5 tires, as long as I adjust my steer stops?? I dont want to use spacers and hope to not have to buy new rims.

Specifically, I want to buy:BFG A/T KO's - 33X10.50 R15

Morris 4X4 said these would require a rim with NLT 4.5" backspace, but that might just be their "CYA" talk...

This guy says it will work.....

if 33X10.50 will not work, what about 33X9.50??

Your thoughts please......thanks

33x10.5 will work fine on a 7" wheel , I ran 33x12.5 on a 7" wheel with no problems
