93 AX-15 into a 91YJ problem
Who has done this? The input shaft is larger on the 93 ax-15 than the AX-15 I took out of the 91'.. It does have the 4.0L..The problem is in the pilot bearing, I bought the bearing for the 93 and It's large.. It looks like it replaces the end of the crank. Does it come off? if so, what do I need to take it off or is there anyway around this, maybe a "quick fix".. Maybe someone ran into this problem with they swaped out a Peugeot to the AX transmission or have done this swap before.. Really in need of help here..

If your trying to get it out from the center of the flywheel, you have to "hydrolically" remove it. Post above covers it but you basically fill the void behind it with grease and then pound a bolt the size of the hole in and it should work its way out. I have done it once before. It can be a PITA but it does eventually work. Another option is get the puller at the parts store but they don't work half the time.
