The red is just duplicolor since I knew it would be covered by the Poison Spyder trail corners. The black POR products were ordered from Quadratech.

So after I was done with the rockers I moved on to the rear quarters. Any rust I either cut out or ground down and then painted over with POR 15. It was all going to be covered anyways. Here are pics of the test fit of the corners.

My project currently is from Maine, and I know all about the rust issues. I have virtually replaced every removable part due to rust, and my frame, rockers, and rear quarters are all ate up like yours. I love the boat sides and will look into those for mine, and not bad price, 50 bucks more than s.b. xrc sliders, what a deal!

If your rockers are like mine the boatsides are the way to go IMO. You end up cutting about 4.5" off the rockers and about the same amount on the floor.

Looks Familiar

Think the boatside might be the option I go with, thought I was looking at my tub for a minute!! Either that or a new to me tub for my rebuild.

How bad was your Skid plate mount on the driver and passenger side?

Mine has rotted through and was wondering if Welding it is a food idea on a Mud jeep.
