Just got back to trying things out again, here's what happened. Started it up ran fine for about 2 minutes, then stalled out, I checked for fuel at the rail had plenty of pressure when I pushed in the stem. I turned it over and started right back up. Checked the voltage, for some reason on the gauge it showed it was about 13 volts. I hooked up a meter and was charging at 14 on my meter. I was holding it at a steady rpm about 2000 then it would sputter a little bit then it would stall. But this time it starts back up every time. Do you thInk it could be caused by a dirty throttle body or IAC. And do you know what the two codes are.
You always start with the basics. Since you have fuel you need to assume air out spark. If you can hold idle up at 2000 by pushing the throttle the iac would be a good place to start. Does it die if you hold the throttle?
Update..... just put in a new Tps due to braking when cleaning the throttle body, replaced the coil, the dist, cap, rotor and seems to run fine and hasn't stalled today. I seem to have a little skip when its idling, I have ordered a IAC since it looked pretty bad even after i cleaned it. found on for 12.00 so figured it was worth replacing. I'm hoping this takes care of it. Thanks for all the help
