92 wrangler 4.0 crankshaft Position sensor check

Is there a check (resistance ) that you can do with a CPS removed? haynes says when engine is warmerd up across pins A&B you should get 125-275 ohms reisitnace, but my motor won't start. I'm trying to see if the CPS I got from Advance auto is bad.

Second if I have the new one installed is there a check you can do without motor running?

Thanks for all the help

One CPS check that I read in the book was to disconnect the CPS at the plug for one minute. Then plug it back in. If the rig then starts the CPS is bad.
