I bought the master from autozone, diconnected the cotter pin from the clutch pedal, took the pin out then disconnected the line, then took the 2 nuts off. Put the new one on. Went underneath the jeep and bled from the bleeder valve on the bell housing. I bled it 3 different times and still nothing. I did have some clutch pedal, but the 2nd time I bled it there was no resistance to the pedal. My clutch never slipped before, just hard to get into gears sometimes. But like I said, once I pumped the clutch a couple of times, it would go into gear. I bled it with the resevoir cap on and off, thought maybe that could have made a difference but it didnt. This is the first time I have changed a clutch master cylinder, but it didnt seem complicated. You think the new master clutch cylinder caused the slave cylinder to fail or does it sound like I just need to bleed it more?
