91 YJ 4 Cylinder Axles into an 89 YJ 6 cylinder?

I found some cheap 91 YJ 4 Cylinder axles, with I believe 4.10 gears. I want to swap these into an 89 YJ 6 cylinder so I can run larger tires. What problems can I expect? I think there are some differences in the axles by year, but I don't know which years they changed.

Should bolt right in. The rear axles changed from non-c-clip to c-clip style in 92 or something, but externally they are the same. D30 was the same for the run of the YJ.

Sweet. $200 for both axles with everything still attached is a good deal right?

yep until the d35 breaks and you can get a ford 8.8 to replace it.

Yeah I'm still keeping an eye out for a 8.8 with the proper gearing.
