91 wrangler YJ firewall??

I have a 91 wrangler and I need to pass an 8 gauge power cord for my amp from the battery through the firewall into the inside of the Jeep. I cannot find anywhere to do this. There is hard plastic seals like everywhere and any forum i find is the newer models that have firewalls so it doesn't help. Anyone have any idea how to do this?? Please help and thank you

Would that affect any part of the car? And what do you use to drill a hole through metal?

Drill a hole and pop one of these in. They work awesome!

it wont affect anything as long as you dont snag any wires or anything. just use a power drill and a bit the size you need. the fire wall's pretty thin- a wood bit would suffice.

Just drill a hole through the firewall and fill the hole with a rubber grommet. I put 8ga through my firewall just behind the brake pedal to power my added fuse block
