90 YJ Transfer Case Drop

So lowering the transfer case is as simple as putting 6 spacers at the center skid plate? I haven't done it yet cause I was concerned with the amount of work required, until i watched this video:

If I would have know it was that simple I would have gone with the 4" lift in lieu of the 2.5".

That's the start, yes. You may want to be ever vigilant of your shifting to 2nd, 4th and reverse. The drop seems to move these corresponding gears back so that the shifter will sometimes contact the tub. Its nothing a little light trimming can't handle but extremely annoying if left alone.

Good luck!!

The transfer case drop worked great. No more grinding of gears or hitting of the tub. However I tend to pinch my fingers between the stick and console when shifting into 2nd, 4th, and R. I'll shift the console back an inch when refinishing the tub.
