Code for Khaki Metallic (as used on 89, 90, and 91 Saharas) is HJ5.

I too have a paint code dilemma. The tag with all the right numbers/letters is nowhere to be found on my 1989 "sahara green" (aka tan/khaki/etc.) YJ. The one plate I did find is riveted to the firewall in the engine comp. but has none of the codes I have seen listed here or on paint sites. Perhaps my car is actually a daihatsu...

Ok, not to hijack a thread but I need some help. My numbers don't jive with the image of the plate. I'll try to attach a picture. I want to know what my exterior color is called and also the interior trim color. Thanks.

What year is your YJ.

QA9 (second to last row, center position) is the code that Paintscratch.com lists for "Charcoal Gray Metallic" (they list it as AA9) for your 1990 YJ's paint.

Thanks, that sounds like the correct color. I'd like to know what the interior color is called but I don't see that deciphered anywhere. From what I've seen in this thread, the code for mine would be P6SA but I don't know what that translates to.
