90 4.2 to 95xj 4.0 Swap info?
My 4.2 has been giving me some trouble lately and I have decided to swap it for a 95 4.0 HO with the multipoint FI. My questions are will my bellhousing work? I have a ax-15. What is better internal slave or external slave? Are there any good links for wiring info? How much of the 90s wiring can I gut? I am really sick of fusable links. I am sure I will have alot more questions so any info you have would be great. The engine is from a rolled 95xj with 86k it is complete with the wiring harness and ecu. The tensioner is missing so I will need to pick one up and the throttle body is missing, I allready picked one up from a grand cherokee.I will be selling off a new distibutor with team rush parts, recently rebuilt MC2100, 4.2 timing set, and lots of other new parts off my 4.2.
