9.5 tires on a 8" wheel ?

I am looking for asome new wheels , only problem is i just bought new tires "30x9.5" , these are temporary till I lift it , but I want rims now , i'm looking at 15x8 and 31x11.5 tires , question is , will 8" wide wheels be to much for a 9.5" tire ?

Not a problem unless you air down really low off road. There will not be as tight of grip on the bead so in soft sand or hard turning while aired down you "could" break your bead, but again the risk is minimal.
