89 Yj hazard light issue

I am sure this is a simple issue.

When my hazard lights are on they flash a little faster then normal but not enough to illuminate the bulbs fully. If I press the brakes and the hazards are on the front signal lights stay on and don't flash I don't think the rears flash then either. Does anyone have any idea ?

Id say to check the grounds on the brightness but not flashing when the brakes are applied is something I'd imagine to be a safety feature. Rolling down the road situations. Mine does it too.

Adopt your pets. Don't shop for them.

Normal

The hazards blinking the brakes is normal. That is how the circuit is designed. The turn signals blink by turning off the brake lights too.

The quick blinking/dim lights is probably the flasher unit. You can swap it with the blinker flasher as a test.

The front will not flash with the brakes applied. I'll pick up a new flasher today and test it out
