The only thing I remember about the Canadian Jeeps is that some of them came from the factory with a D44 in the rear. Nice option!

The pumpkin is different. The D30 is round. The D44 is more hexigon shaped.

I think the D44 is a myth but who knows. I'm not 100% sure but I would think that the speedo is going to read in Kilometers Per Hour instead of Miles Per Hour and same goes for the Odometer. There may be a few other small differences too.

I got the 1992 YJ with D44 in the back
Gauges are MPHs

and if not mistaking the Canadian YJ's did not come equipped with AC

I have a Canadian version, have a stock D35 in the rear, MPH on the guages, and air conditioning, but I was told all air was added if wanted, and all seem to have an aftermarket look to them.

Here is a gasket that fits a Dana 35

Keep in mind that these pictures are taken at a bit of an angle, so it's a bit distorted.

If it is a Canadian YJ then the first VIN # should be 2. FWIW the non regulated markets had diesel engines etc. Some 2.5's were carb'ed not FI and the list of differences is long so it seems.

At $12.00 a six pack too expensive to use. After 6 pm the price goes to $15.00. Drink it and catch a ride with a buddy. ha ha
