88 YJ starter relay wiring diagram

does anyone have a wiring diagram for a starter relay handy? i have the square relay with 4 posts and 1 stud for the battery hookup. i need to know what wires go where. thanks.

I know this is an old thread but if you hook up the battery where it is shown in the picture, where does the wire for the starter come from?

My positive terminal has two wires, a heavy gauge and a medium gauge. If I'm not mistaken the heavy gauge wire goes directly to the starter solenoid, the smaller wire goes to the battery terminal on the relay. Then there is a yellow wire from a contact below the batt terminal on the relay that goes to another terminal on the solenoid. Turn the key, close a circuit, starter goes.

I thought it was common knowledge, you don't buy a YJ because you're broke... You go broke because you bought a YJ!
