87 yj heater/blower motor upgrade info plz

87 yj 4.2

Going to do the blower upgrade. I have heard that the 87 yj blower motor you can get from autozone now is the correct one for this upgrade.

My question is do I just ask for my year/make/model or do I ask for the motor from a 73 blazer with 4wd etc?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

It doesn't matter either way you're going to get the Siemens PM-102 motor. You WILL have to cut the opening in the firewall bigger.
