87 yj center console advice

87 yj 4.2

Looking at getting a center console and I have seen some cool ones Smitty makes.

My question is do these aftermarket ones contour to the floor or am I going to have to cut it, fab etc like everything else we buy today?

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

I bought mine from Quadratec a long ways back. The bottom was straight and it came with a bracket for the rear part of the console to keep it all level.

Just had to drill holes

I have one of the ultimate center consoles in my Yj its pretty sturdy and the padding on the armrest is super comfy.

I had the Rampage stereo console and it looked really solid, however the armrest was of no use. It was set too far back, and I couldn't push the console any more forward or the gears wouldn't engage. Im going for the Ultimate console now.
