Pro: Easy to work on
Con: Easy to work on

Seriously....I have an '89 4.2, BA/10-5 and I love it....It runs crappy in the cold until it warms up, and the Carter carb is finicky....Other than that, I love mine.

Go 91 or newer. Much less headache from FI. JMHO

You'll also get an AX-15

PLEASE DEPOSIT $.75

I have an 87, 258, auto trans. I love it. Some swear by FI, but a well tuned carb can be close, if not just as good. I reach in, turn the key, wait a few minutes and kick it down. Drive.

I also love my 4.2. And some 4.2s already have the ax15 I believe they started using it in 89 but not sure. But I love my motor even tho I am planning a v8 swap in the next year
