8.8 brakes

Just finished up my 8.8 swap. Question about the e-brake. Adjusted the pins for the drums and got the cables routed and tight. Push pedal down about 5 clicks and seems to work fine. Holds well in reverse but not so much in drive. Will these things self adjust? Curious why reverse is brakes fine but drive isn't? It rolls slightly in drive.

Ive had this problem with the stock parking brakes but it was reverse that would roll slightly. I always assumed it was due to how the shoes 'bit' into the drum differently that allowed for this difference. Are the shoes and hardware on the ebrake new?

Yeah everything is new. They should be self adjusting but one direction being better than the other doesn't make sense. I guess i need to drive it a bit more and see what happens. Only have about 5 miles on the new hardware. Did you solve yours?
