8.8 Brake setup?

I have an 8.8 rear with disk brakes I put in about a year ago. It has always driven fine, but now either my master cylinder or booster is crapping out on me and I will have to replace it.I heard of people using Rubicon setups in YJ's with disks in the rear. Is this correct? If it is what models can I pull these from or should I buy it new? How big of a difference does it make?

I have GC rear brakes on my turdy 5. I swapped in a 95 YJ brake booster and master and a 97 GC prop valve, it stops amazingly. The 95 booster/master provides sufficient fluid while the 97 GC prop valve provides the right distribution of fluid. I'm VERY happy with myset up. I intend on leaving it as is when i swap to a 8.8 in the future.
