Good parts vehicle? Did they all come with D44 axles? 304 motor, trans and t-case desirable? Looking at buying one. Offered $600 seller said $700 was least he would take. At a standoff right now thoughts?

Reason I posted this in the YJ section is I am wondering if the axles would be good under my YJ I plan on building for trail use only.

The 77 Waggy has a passengers side drop d44 ( your Yj has a drivers side drop) and it will most likely have a d44 in the rear (but could have a AMC 20) with an offset pumpkin (you'll want a centered pumpkin d44).
With that said you could use the axles from the 77 Waggy if you swap out your transfer case to a Dana 300 tc from a Cj.
Hope this helps.
