5.3 into 89 4.2 Need Wiring Advice and Help

I had my harness modified by 150tunes.com and I just need to know on my Jeep where to get the ignition + from, and I also have a purple wire that indicates starter solenoid, do I wire that to the key, or the factor start relay?

Any additional wiring help would be appreciated.

Not sure exactly what they did to your harness but this should help you. That's what I used to get fuel pump signal to (from) the PCM, crank signal to the starter, ignition power etc.

Dont forget about adding a fuel pump relay and wiring in a relay to your brake switch for the torque converter unlock (if you are running the 4l60e)

Randonexplosion:

Thank you, I appreciate the info. So for the ignition switch you just hooked up your harness starter solenoid wire to D5? Which I am assuming is straight from the key?

Brake Switch I have to install a relay to switch it from ground to power, as the computer wants power signal and my factory brake switch is just a grounding switch correct?

Thanks
Josh

Here is where I address the wiring in my build http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/y...3/index24.html

I was pretty clueless so if I can do it, you can

This addresses the torque converter wiring http://www.jaguarspecialties.com/tech_tips5.asp
