Food for thought. I put a 6pinion planetary and wide chain when i redid tcase. Couple days in junkyard tearing up tcases. But the experience was great. As I am just a hobbiest and not a pro mechanic.

I also welded some 1/4 inch plate to rear of skid cause tcase stuck out past rear of skid. I made my own frame side motor mounts and used the pick up truck mounts on motor side. Beefier. And i didn't like the mounts in front on the zj mounts.
Sounds like one long *** drivetrain for a Wrangler! What's the length of the 46rh? The AX15 only has a couple more inches over the AX5 if memory serves me right. Which contributes to my mount/shifter location problem I'm betting.

Yeah I'm lookin at the JB conversion kit, then I started looking at the teralow 4:1 kit and all that. The JB kit makes the 231 shorter than an Atlas II which is a plus.

How long ago was that? After looking at their selling points, I'm pretty sold on the JB.

I was all about it too, being made in USA and all. It was summer of '10. My bud had to wait as well in '09. It's a small shop and they only order material when they run out. At least that's what they told me. They did eventualy call me though but I had been driving my rig for a month by then.

Damn wtf? One would think that you order more **** BEFORE you run out!

I'll call them first before I place an order to make sure I don't have to go through the hassle of cancelling my order. I don't feel like putting up with the same **** that a lot of people went through with Superior, which by the way I'm gonna put in a call beforehand as well when the 8.8 is done.

If you looking for 8.8 . Check Yukon out. They have c clip eliminator and grizzly. Great products that they stand behind their warrantees.

I was hearing something about Yukon having those as well, does it stretch the track width out like the Superior kit?

Green country offroad sponsored me a hp44 cut down to tj rubi inners housing. He threw in Yukon chromo inner and outer for up front. He also threw in 1541 Yukon for my 8.8. I used spider trax bp adapters to match 5x5.5. Yukon sponsored me a grizzly for the 8.8. I am gonna run this till I break it. Then I will go with yukon c clip eliminator that comes with chromo shaft. That's if i break it.
I launched my yj off a double bump and ripped my driveshaft in half. The 1541s held up. I will link my HP44 and grizzly thread for ya if intereasted.
