Yeah that motor will work. Make sure you get the computer and wiring harness. See if you can get the flywheel, starter, clutch if it's 5 speed, starter, starter shim plate, exhuast manifolds and y pipe to the catalitic converter. More of the parts you get the more it sill save you. You will still have to get bellhousing off a older 87-88 F150 slave and fork.

Well I hooked up the Y pipe, bolted down motor mounts, fixed the broke slave tonight. I need to get O2 sensors hooked up. I think that is my problem. But need to get some sensor bungs for the exhaust. Stock Y pipe for a F-150 works prefect.

Make sure you get someone to take pics of it on the trail!
Would love to see (and hear!!) some video of it powering up a big hill (or something!!).

Well I was hooking up things to button it up. And I noticed the headlights and blinkers are not working. Would any one know why? Maybe I left a ground off.

Five minutes after I asked that question I checked and I had left the ground off on front of radiator support. So she works great. I was wondering cause everything worked before the swap. Thanks anyway. Can't wait to get this thing on road.

Here are some pics last night of some dumb%sses getting buried in Some Mississippi River Mud. This place I went to last night is big time flood plane. Every year in the spring it is covered in water. There are all kindas of trails. Just no hills. So it was kinda boring. Then these two guys both decided to show us all what big trucks could do. Both were buried for 3 hours at least cause I left at midnight and they were still stuck. I pulled one out with my winch then he drove back in it. Right before the Chevy got stuck a 04 Rubicon went right through the same hole. I tryed to tell them how to pull it out but no one listened. Instead the Ford broke a driveshaft. The Chevy blew radiator and bumper and grill and who knows what else cause he was free when I left. I got tired of watching them drive as fast as they could and yank with strap. So I left. Hope they made it out.

Yeah I took it for a spin. Got most of the bugs worked out. I am sure I will find more later. It runs good. The power steering pump pressure line was kicking my butt. I final made it work. I figured out the clutch slave cylinder too. I finally got it rolling a hour ago. I worked on it off and on all weekend. Took longer then I thought cause I had a few problems.

Well I found some hills today. Man this thing is a mud machine. I didn't get the vacuum lines hooked up right. So I made it in 2 wheel got stuck a couple times. I forgot to take a camera with me. But this is some pics after I got home. I broke my exhaust off and blew the radiator. The radiator was almost toast anyway. I justed finshed it off today.
