4XRAC system on hood

Has anyone used the 4XRAC system to mount their HiLift on the hood? I was wondering where would be the best placement on the hood or cowl would be. Pictures would be a great help.

The hood is probably the worst place to mount a jack. For starters, using it more than once is going to scratch your hood up so badly you'll wish you had left it at home, let alone the weight of it and how awkward it would be to replace it. The folding windshield idea is out the window and so is leaning the hood on the windshield frame. You'll have to use the hood prop and hope that a gust of wind doesn't propel the jack into the drivers seat.

If you're going to use the mounting brackets in a creative yet practical place, run the jack right above the drivers side rear fender flare, right behind the door.
