Brack:
The price is reasonable, but I would stay away from Pro Comp lifts. Almost everyone on this board warned me to stay away, but the price was so attractive, that I gave in. Now, I have to spend more money to replace the shocks, and hopefully, the ride will be better. Looks good, but rides like hell! Let me know if you have other questions. Yellow Fever ![]()

I agree with Yellow Fever.
I know when the jeep bug bites that its hard not to rush out and get the kit or the easiest thing. But really take your time and do it right. Think about realisticly how much you wheel and what you can afford. I would save your money and get the best. Especially if your jeep is your daily driver. I have to pay for my cheap mistake everyday. it royaly sucks to have to suffer the harsh ride every single day. I will be fixing it but it won't be until i finish school and this time I'm going SOA. if your wanting a kit... check out Rubicon Express. They are the most expensive but its for a real good reason. You pay for what you get! Now if your looking for middle ground check out BDS Suspensions .... the warrenty is the best part. If it breaks BDS replaces it. And they are not as expensive as most other companies either. stay away from Pro Comp lifts, Rough Country, Tough Country. Good luck and keep us posted with what you decide

I am pretty sure that the 4wd kit that they are showing in the magazines and are advertising as the "4wd" lift kit is a BDS kit. I will tell you from experiece that this is one of the best SOA kits out there, it gives you plenty of lift, (about 1.5") over the advertised height, and also there rock solid warrenty. IMHO this is one of the best kits out there, right next to RE's. Good Luck to you.

i have the pro comp 4" springs. i had to remove a leaf from the rear pack to smoothe out the ride. now, it's fine and well worth the $225.00 i spent for the springs. before removing the leaf, i was pissing blood!
i'recently had back surgery too, so if it was still harsh.... i'd tell you! ![]()

Go with the extreme duty. I have heard the springs that come with the standard are not as good as those that come with the Extreme Duty. I have the Extreme Duty and love it.
