4wd LOW is a no go????

Hey guys.
I got a 95 yj 6 cy auto and it wont budge into 4wd LOW.
It shifts into 4wd hi n the N with ease but wont budge into low
I dunno whats wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

let your foot off the brake? there can be some major binding and some tcases are finicky.

If you're shifting while rolling, and it still won't go into 4LO, try adjusting the linkage.

Maybe the shift lever is hitting the tub.

Its a new to me jeep.. so im new to this... I put it in N and rolled n it wouldnt budge into low...i didnt know how hard i should pull on it?

4 LO is back - right - and back again. Are you pushing the shifter to the right before you try to pull it back again for 4 LO ?

418 miles on 19 gallons of gas. Can't beat the BBD !

Any body lift on the Jeep such that the shift lever is, as noted, hitting the tub before you can pull far enough into 4Low?

if not - check under the jeep and make sure that the linkages are not full of crud and or pins/springs/retaining bolts are not rusted/missing/sheared off

Yes i am shifting correctly...ill check under her today...is there a skid plate obstructing a view of the links?
I believe its close to stock-ill have to check

what started for me as checking shifter linkage ended up in me rebuilding my t-case... its not too hard, but good luck
