4 wheel drive light stays on

4x4 light has been on for months but it shifts in and out of 4x4 with no problems. I've noticed on a sharp incline that it will flicker on and off. Sounds like something loose somewhere - but hell ain't that the case with all jeep ailments?

Mine was acting up like that until the 4x4 finally quit working all together. Could mean you are getting problems in the vacuum system.

Mine was also on until I unplugged the vacuum disconnect and blocked it off on the passenger front axle. I went to chromoly TJ style shafts...
