4"RE Lift installed. Pics and comments

i purchased a 4" RE STD lift from DC4WD (sick price!!) and finally installed it on sat and finsished it on tuesday. Only problems i ran into was i had to cut out the rear track arm and i think all my brake lines broke when i tried to free them so that delayed me. One other prob was my buddy who was prepping the springs with the bushings and grease accicdently put the larger bushing on both ends of one spring in the back so when we got to the front one bolt would'nt fit!..doh, 10 min later it was fixed.

The only issues i had with the kit itsself was even if i was going to reuse my front track arm i couldnt with the reloacation bracket they gave me witout modifications. The bolt was too large to fit thru the hole in the axle. I dont know why they would make it so you had to open it up but o well. The instructions were slim. If you didnt know what you were doing and what ther best order was then you would be screwed. Last issue was the sway bar disco's are awsome, but they dont give you the bolts to use them at one end. I still have to go to HD and grab some

Jeep rides like a caddy compaired to stock spings and blown out shocks. ITs a little sloppy without the sway going 70 but nothing im not used to in mustangs with no front sway. Do have some vibs accelerating and got the coffe can rattle under decel sometimes so a SYE is in the near future. CAnt decide to do it now or wait till spring when i do the 8.8 swap?

just got my KC for the a-pillers and my locker so they will be going in within the next few days and the new bumper is going to be ordered 2nite

now for the pics

4" RE, 1" bl, 33's

will get more and better pics when weather lightens up
