craigslist netted me a 4.2 and goodies for $200
If that doesn't work call some salvage yards.

These motors are not that hard to come by.

fish, did you go carbed, or did you go FI with it? my yj has the 2.5, and i am thinking about slowly assembling a replacement 4.2, with the ax-15 instead of the ax-5, and using my stock transfer case. i dont know anything about wiring, so i am thinking a carbed setup would be really easy instead of figuring out how to wire up a 6 cylinder from a 4 cylinder wiring harness.
