4.2l Head to 4.0l Head

Hey, guys.

Just about to undertake the famous, 4.2l to 4.0l head swap (maybe...infamous?). I'm curious about something. I've looked at a thousand different MPI and TBI kits online (can you believe the PRICES OF THESE THINGS? lol). Well, I'd like to not send that much at the moment. Could I just find a donor 4.0l and pull the ecu, sensors, pump, etc from that being that the head was swapped or is it much more complicated than that? (Going through with the swap either way, just tryin to switch to efi).

I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Patrick
