4.2 Random tap from motor

As the title says 4.2 has a random tab not specific to RPMS sounds like it is coming from the top center of motor. Number 3 plug is black the rest all seem fine, and the compression test all came up equal on all cylinders. I am going to tear in to figuring it out this week I just wanted to see where everyone thought I should start.

Thanks

Plug wire... Distributor not firing.... If compression is good... Most likely electrical...
