4.0 HO Stock. Horsepower?

hey i did a little search, but didnt try to hard to find it, and got no luck. so i decided this was easier. Just wanna know how much horsepower the 4.0 HO engine has. Its all stock. And a 94 if that makes a difference.

if your 4.0 is the engine that came in your 94 wrangler then you have the HO.

I searched this a couple weeks ago. An article said the I6 engines had 180 stock. I imagine after 15+ years, it's dropped a bit.

That HP figure is @ 4750 RPM. It also puts out 220 ft/lbs of torque @ 4000rpms.

Those puny carbed 258s only net 112hp (@3200 rpms) but they put out 220 ft/lbs @ 2000 rpms!

The 258 is really a 232 stroker, and it suits the jeep quite well. If my engine ever saw 4500 rpms, I would be picking parts up off the street.
