where is the collector on your headers? Im running block huggers that come out int the center of the block and when I go wheelin my axle comes up and crushes my exhuast. I will be switching to shorty style headers.

I am i little concerned about this to, i am going to try to run the drivers side either under or around the front of the oil pan. I'm hoping i can get a tight enough bend off the collector so the d shaft won't hit it.

here are the headers installed. i will get a pic of where the drivers side collector is tomorrow. im not concerned about the down pipe hitting the axle, its the d shaft that i am worried about.

I have mine routed under the oil pan and it hits.. You don't want your exhaust to close to the oil pan or it will heat up the oil up.. So if you do route it that direction I would wrap it.

ok so here is where the collector is at. in the first pic u cant actually see the collector but u can basically tell where it is at. the second pic is from right under the output of the t case. from this view i think i am going to have enough room for the d shaft.

didn't do anything to interesting tonight. just traced a few wires from a plug in the engine compartment from the factory harness into the old gauge plug. im using a few of these wires for my new gauges. installed the new sending units and got the coolant temp sensor wired in. also measured the driveshaft lengths and they are going to the shop tomorrow. the rear shaft is now 17" long instead of almost 19"(what it was before). o well. i also need to figure out what i am going to do for fuel lines. what have u guys done?

Well didn't do much of anything this weekend. Had to much other stuff to do. So I'm headed to the garage now to make up for some lost time. Time to do some electrical!

Have you thought about about running true duel exhaust?. It was alot easier then cross overs and they are tucked up out of the way. Got to love the wireing, so much fun !

I am going to run stock manifolds that dump out the end so I can clear DS and links on mine. Same concept, different beater.

Doing well though, well done!

I should have the drive shafts back the beginning of this week so i will see how close things are. And i snapped a stud off on my oil pressure sensor so i had to order another one. Pisses me of a brand new $22 sensor and the stud twisted off. O well i guess
