two questions... does the rear hatch use a handle to open the rear glass? How is the strip that mounts the front to the windshield frame?

It's an obvious repaint. Depending on the quality of the paint job, I see no reason that $350 would not be a fair asking price. Especially in north-central Michigan. Hard top prices vary greatly depending on how far north you live.

I sold a hard top with no rear glass for $250 a couple years ago, to a guy in the Chicago suburbs, then turned around and bought a hard top with good glass that was more into the rural area of north-central Illinois for $200. Location - location - location.

Dang! Yea the hard tops around here are big$$ there was one good paint but the hinges were all but gone for the back hatch he wanted $400, that's why I'm wondering why this is so cheap. But looks good.

I got a CJ hardtop out of mid michigan, with a pair of rusty harddoors for $350. Guy was awesome, and even met me halfway. The hatch is very rusty, but still useable. Same with the doors.

Definitely a YJ top. See the notch in the liftgate for the tailgate? Plus, it has vents behind the windows, which my CJ top does not.

They do, no issue, but the tailgate has to be opened after the liftgate, not before like on a YJ. This can be an issue with the spare tire.

And this is not a CJ top

$350 is a steal. Buy it. You can always fix it.
