I got the transmission pushed up in the motor. Now I just need to bolt every thing else up and see if the clutch is working

The trans is holding good and I haven't been easy on it. The only thing that broke is the u joint on the driveshaft but it was the original

thats good news. im in the middle of a resto and have a 355 waiting to be put in. what bell or adapter kit did you go with? anything you would do different?

I used advanced adapters kit. There isn't really anything I can think of I would do different. Are you going carbureted or fuel injection

carbed for now. i atleast want to give it a chance. my buddy wheels the piss our of his carber 4.2 and it does well. did you buy the clutch fly and slave from aa as well. sorry for all the questions. your the only one i can get to respond to me. do you have a build thread?

No problem I got the whole kit from them with everything. I don't have a build thread. I went with a carb too and haven't had it off road yet but it fires right up and runs good. I'm only getting 10 mpg right now with 4.10 gears and 35s

awsome man. i assume you used the np 231? suck about mpgs tho. im running 4:88 and 35s what axles you got?

I'm still using the np231 and I have the stock axles for now. I'm going to try to find some Dana 44s this winter.
