what other mods are you doing? i'm assuming your not running stock drivetrain with that.... ? and which mounts, accesories, etc are you using?

good idea i will try to do a complete writeup with pics if i can getmy woman to help me ha ha

yeah unfourtunaltley for now its gonna be stock axle setup ill write up as i go

yeah, a 360 makes good power and torque right down low in stock form. with the chevy, you get to tinker with it, and also that 350 will keep the underside of your jeep well lubed so it wont rust.

why : same parts as my cherokee axle, which i have different gears, $200, beefier than the stock D35.

Dodge Dakota 95-96 (dont remember exactly) w/ 318 V8

you have to remove all the brackets, buy/make new ones which isnt hard at all. welding is not complicated. I didnt even took of the leaf packs to remove/install it.

i bought the leaf brakets (3") at a part store (6$) and took of the shocks brackets off the D35. placed them on the leafs in the holes, slide the axle under the jeep (which is 2 feet of the ground, without rear wheels but still have rear leafs) , then sit the axle on the brakets, took some measurements and looked at the angle of the pinion. put a jackstand to maintain the pinion and solder it in place.
