3.5 suspension lift w/2"shackle lift ?

need advise, can a 3.5" suspension lift be done with a 2" shackle lift without having a drive shaft problem ? its on a 94 yj 2.5 w/33"x12.5" bfg's a/t. its a daily driver and occasional mud and trail rider. just wondering if im gonna have a vibration problem or a driveshaft lenth problem ? also will it affect the front drive train ? thanks

You're not going to skate by that lift without a CV driveshaft and/or SYE..

I'd leave them off. It will make the ride alot more bumpy and decrease the quality of your suspension horrbily. Plus, your 3.5" kit should be able to clear you're 33's. Leave them off and maybe you can get by with just a transfer case drop.

I was just asking basically the same question, and 33s may fit but on the trail you will rub. check out this thread good pics of my 31s with 3 1/2" lift and another with same lift 33s plus a 1" body lift.

My jeep came with 2" shackles, no other lift. They suck, because the shackles are so long that they actually hinder approch and departure angles. I bottomed out quite a few times on the shackles while offroading at camp jeep this year. As soon as I can get a regular lift I am tossing these things.
