Do you have a header or stock manifold?

If you have regular cardboard gaskets, soak them in water before installing them. For some reason, it works, and you won't blow it. Must make it seal off and compress better, being softer.

If your blowing out the exhaust manifold gaskets maybe try to find ones with copper inserts or crush rings in them (for lack of a better discription) they are a lot more durable then the standard gaskets.
