258 aluminum valve cover

does anyone have a stock#/vendor for an 88YJ 258 aluminum valve cover to replace the plastic one, also a gasket set, i've heard some one on the forum talk about the felpro valve cover gasket from Advance Auto. any info will be appreciated.

It kind of depends on which motor is really in yours. My 87 actually had an 86 motor. The jeep dealer said they were bad about using up the last year's parts in newer models around then. My head was like a CJ head. They changed up in there somewhere to a bolt pattern different from mine. Sorry this wasn't much help.

thanks, yea i believe mine has the M engine designation in the VIN number, i'm not sure what that means but i've seen it asked for on some engine parts. Most vendors tend to skip the 87/88 years when it comes to valve covers.
