2 inch lift

Hi,

I am new to the jeep community, I have owned my Jeep for about 8 months now. I have a 92 YJ all stock. I am looking to put a 2-3 inch lift with 31-33 inch tires on it. It is mostly a daily driver, but i would like to do some off roading. I have been looking at the Tough Country 2 inch lift with shocks. I was wondering what else i would have to do if i put a lift on? I have read about SYE's and other such things but do not know if they r manditory with such a small lift. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

I'm running the Rough Country 2.5" lift with 3/4" boomerang shackles. I've got about 4" of total lift right now. It doesn't look too bad with 31's, and it handles fine for DD purposes.
You may or may not get vibrations due to the drive shaft angle. I had some so i just put some washers between the skid plate and frame as a mini t-case drop.

do the shackles help a lot? or were they just for extra lift?

I used the shackles to achieve the lift i wanted and to help prevent inverting my leaf springs
I have rockers on my jeep with a tube but I still have to kinda "hop up" into my jeep
This is the best picture I have, but I'll snap another side view of it soon

yea i blocked my jeep up to simulate what the lift and tires would be like and its kinda in that zone where u almost need a step but you could live without them and i dont want them to hang down to much
